Manhattan Beach Luxury Home Market Update--July 2015

 Our market indicators point to a minute cooling off of luxury home sales in Manhattan Beach as we reach the halfway point of 2015. There's a slight increase in inventory and a dip in number of sales recorded on the local MLS. Although the market is still firmly planted in seller territory when it comes to who the market favors, there are still several positive indicators for buyers especially if they are obtaining financing for their luxury home purchase. Interest rates are still very good and as homes accumulate a growing number of days on market the playing field shared by buyer and sellers becomes more level.

The tally for June 2015 sales of luxury homes priced over $3,000,000 in Manhattan Beach stands at 10 with 61 days on the market being the average. There are currently 13 luxury homes in escrow with accepted offers, and 28 Manhattan Beach luxury homes are currently for sale.
